Braised Country Herbal Chicken @Tojongdak, Sokcho

*Phew*..Really hard to find out what is the shop name that I had this nice braised country herbal chicken and the location of it when you din know how to read korean -_-"' I managed to use the virtual korean keyboard and figure out the name. You guys can try it..it's so kewl to try type it as though you know korean..lolo
원조털보네 (Tojongdak)
Been searching for 털보네토종닭 or 원조털보네 in google and all results come out is really "kiri kuru" to me (sorry, when I dun understand anything..I usually said is kiri kuru..haha)

This shop is really secluded in countryside where we can't go in with our tour couch.
We have to separate into small groups to take turns sit a small shuttle van which can fits about 10 ppl at one time in order to reach the shop.
See..this shop really is in countryside..really different experience to enjoy your meal
Our sumptuous braised country herbal chicken meal with porridge is served...
Yummy...got big potatoes some more...my fav!
Closer look of the braised country herbal chicken soup
There are lotsa of side dishes too..
Till now no idea what is this...taste like jelly. Anyone can tell me?
Yummy tofu
Dunno what paste is this..dun dare to try
Red kimchi...but i like the white kimchi more
My fav...white kimchi (the one at the top)..so far this shop is the only one I saw got white kimchi that taste so nice! And white kimchi is not spicy too
They have porridge in this nice bowl..but yucks..I hate porridge..dun get me wrong that this porridge sucks but just i dun like any porridge
Why is ahjumma bum in the photo??? Haizz..
Okla..a photo of boyfie and me without ahjumma bum inside
More photos of the shop...we have to sit on the floor and eat..

For those who plans to go Sokcho or on the way to Alpensia Holiday Inn, you should drop by this shop and experience this delicious braised country herbal chicken. Its really worth the typical Korean country side experience!

Teddy Bear Farm @Sokcho

Located in Sokcho, the Teddy Bear Farm Gallery offers a glimpse into the unique lifestyle of Sokcho through teddy bears: teddy bears are displayed mountain-climbing, skiing, playing golf, riding a boat from Abai Village to downtown, working hard on a squid fishing boat, sun tanning, or even defending the country. It is a must-visit for Teddy Bear lovers! Visitor can also purchase their favorite teddy bears at the gift shop.

According to our tour guide about the history of teddy bears: "teddy" got its name from the US President Theodore Roosevelt, whose nickname is "Teddy".

A photo before going in..
So many huge teddy bears...some bigger and taller than me

Luv all the teddy bears especially the one in traditional costume- hanbok

More of teddies in different costumes

Outside the farm house, there is more teddy bear figurines..but due to the bad weather...is raining, so I did manage to go out and snap more photos. Only a few shots from inside the farm house.
