Short hiatus! I'm still busy organizing the photos for the Singapore trip, so while waiting for that, this will be a short post on the teatime session I had in Marina Bay with boyfie's cousin and Rin at 1837 TWG Tea. It's my first time having teatime there even though they have one branch @Pavillion KL..and I super duper luv it. Will ask boyfie to bring me to Pavillion outlet more often *grin* It's really a nice hangout place esp for gals *ahem* to chit chat and gossiping :-P
And did you know, TWG is actually originated from Singapore?! So it's good that I tried it from the originator place for the first time.
From the TWG Tea site:
TWG Tea was established in Singapore in celebration of the island’s great history as a trading post for teas, spices and fine epicurean products. TWG Tea, which stands for The Wellness Group, is a luxury concept that incorporates an international distribution network to professionals, unique and original retail outlets and exquisite tea rooms.

In Marina Bay Sand itself, there are 2 outlets : One is a tea garden and one is on top of the bridge. Initially wanted to find seats in the tea garden outlet, but could not get one. So no choice have to had it at the outlet on top of the bridge and it's a bit hot around 3pm+ as the ceiling is transparent glass, so you will be under tiny bit of hot bbq sun if you dun mind having some sun tan, but not me -_-"'
Saw the water directly under or behind us? Perhaps you can spot the boat too? |

We had 2 tea time set menus, which cost $19 each. The set has
- A choice of 2 homemade scones or muffins served with
- TWG Tea jelly and whipped cream or 1 patisserie from TWG trolley
Always my favorite food - homemade scones..yummy! |
That's all..enjoying my tea now! :-P |
